Please find below our round-up of Xero Product Updates from the last few months. And It’s a very short one this time!

Learn Core Xero updates this quarter, updates to reporting, the Xero Accounting Apps, Xero Payroll to support Statutory Neonatal Care Leave and Pay, and other resources.

🚀 CORE XERO:

Updates to the invoice creation screen, to ensure you can see more information at a glance. Text wraps which reduces the need to scroll horizontally, and also the ability to add new rows manually, and reorder empty rows.

Pay international bills directly and securely from Xero using the Bill Payments feature (powered by Crezco). Handle supplier payments online in over 25 currencies. You can also track payment status and manage approvals from within Xero. JAX beta access is expanding to all customers with the subscriber role. Getting paid & managing cashflow remains a top priority for small businesses, so that's why Xero have focused their first features in JAX on helping to create invoices and quotes, as well as answering everyday questions about Xero. 🚀 REporting:

You can now add accounts with zero balance or activity during the reporting period to reports in Xero - just click the ‘More’ option.

🚀 xero mobile apps:

Xero have added in-app guides to the Xero Accounting App, walking you through the steps to complete your accounting tasks.

Tap to Pay is now available for iPhone users, right inside the Xero Accounting app. By setting this up, you can use your iPhone to accept contactless payments instantly, wherever you do business. No extra hardware needed, and setup is straightforward.

You can now set up an invoice template within the Xero Accounting app

If you haven’t set up multi-factor authentication (MFA), you now have the option to set up Passkeys when logging into the Xero Me app. By using Passkeys as your MFA you can securely access your account in one step using your phone's Face ID, fingerprint, or screen lock PIN instead of typing a password.

🚀 xero PAYROLL:

Updates to Xero Payroll to support Statutory Neonatal Care Leave and Pay, which became available across the UK this April. This important new leave helps support parents if their baby is born premature or sick, providing crucial time away from work to focus on their family during neonatal care. Within Xero Payroll, this will work just like any other statutory leave types. You'll also find step-by-step guides within Xero Payroll to walk you through the process.
